My top 5 Alternative Luxury Advent Calendars

The surge in alternative advent calendars has been meteoric in recent years, with all sorts of calendars out there including LEGO, Harry Potter and Whittards Hot Chocolate for Two.  But there are also some luxury alternative advent calendars available, and this is my pick of the best… and the “Best-of-the-rest”.

Beaverbrook Diamond-a-Day-advent calendar cost £100,000

This Advent calendar has been create by the award-winning jewellers to celebrate their 100 anniversary.  If you do decide to purchase this calendar – which was featured on This Morning complete with security guard – you can expect to save over £23,000 on the individual cost of the items included in it!  Wow how do I get my hands on one of these calendars to surprise the one I love in my life?   It’s simple… theres a freephone number that you call to order yours!
So what can you expect to find in your calendar?  Well you can expect an 18ct White Gold and Rose Gold Diamond Earrings (£4,250) infinity bracelet set with diamonds. You can expect a diamond and tanzanite necklace and earring set.  And for the BIG Day – 25 December – you can expect a platinum solitaire diamond ring, worth a whopping £26,000!

Liberty London Beauty Advent Calendar cost £215.00

Just like the Braverbrook calendar there is a saving to be had on the contents of this one.  This time it’s slightly lower, but if you were to buy the contents individually then you would be looking at a price tag of £610, so you’re looking at a saving of £395, which can’t be sneezed at!
So what do you get in this gorgeous calendar?  Well you get 18 full size products cult classics including Votary Super Seed Facial Oil 50ml retailing at £70.00.  Trish McEvoy Beauty Booster Lip and Cheek in Plum at £29.00 and Le Labo Tonka 25 Eau de Parfum at £112.00!

Fortnum & Masons – Fortnum’s Feasting Advent Calendar cost £200

There is definitely no better way to treat yourself in the run up to Christmas than to have a different surprise luxury food item from the  top people’s shop Fortnum & Masons each day; starting with F&M’s iconic 181 sauce in day one and including Honey Spiced Vodka Liqueur, Sir Nigel’s Marmalade and for the BIG DAY a quarter bottle of champagne – the perfect way to get the festivities started!!!

This is everything you would expect from The White Company including five star reviews.  This indulgent Calendar includes Peppermint foot balm, Lime & Bay eau de toilette and my personal favourite Seychelles.  If you were to buy these body care and award-winning skincare products individually it would cost you £264, so you’re making a £104 saving.
