Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

At any one time there’s numerous negative things going on in the world which, thanks to the development of the Internet and social media, you don’t have to go too far to find out about. However, what there isn’t enough of – in my humble opinion – is “counting one’s blessings”!
It’s so easy to get caught up in the negativity of the world, which is often very hard to avoid, when in actual fact we should be looking a little closer to home and celebrating what we have in our own lives that we are grateful for.
Often something happens that we are thankful for but, because we have our heads down caught up in life, we take it for granted and don’t give it the recognition that it deserves.
So why not take just a few moments now to reflect back over the last 24 hours and make a list of the things that you could give thanks for, but that you’ve  either let the acknowledgement of thanks pass you by or which you have taken for granted.
It might be seeing your dog chasing a ball you’ve thrown for them. It might be that cuppa in bed that your other half made for you. It might be a beautiful sunrise or sunset. Whatever it is give thanks retrospectively and make an effort to count the wonderful blessings that have been bestowed upon you now and in the future.

Your life is a short and precious stitch on the fabric of time; so don’t waste it worrying about what you can’t control, be grateful and give thanks for what you do have right her, right now!

Until next time…
