A Guide to the week ahead

Eat well

Plan your meals ahead of time so you won’t be tempted to grab the first thing to hand when you’re hungry.

Don’t reach for the bottle

Drinking alcohol regularly of an evening isn’t a reward or something to help you unwind. It’s a damaging habit to get into. Be continental… drink your alcohol with food.

Smile at a stranger

You don’t know what their story is and your smile could make a total difference to their day.

If you can, try and put your phone, tablet or other electronic device away from 8pm and just enjoy the rest of the evening tech-free.

Set reasonable expectations for your days

Don’t beat yourself up if you don’t achieve what you set out to do in a day… Remember Rome wasn’t build in one.

Be kind to a homeless person

There are more and more rough sleepers on our streets these days so why not spend that cash you were going to us on a latte, to get a Meal Deal and donate it to a homeless person. Remember ours is not to judge why they are where they are…

Cook from scratch

Forget the Just Eat app or Deliveroo you lazy thing you. Get the ingredients, make time and cook from scratch. If you have a slow cooker you can bung it all in before you leave for work and when you get home, voila a cooked meal!

Be happy

Emit those happy positive vibes and see how others react. If you’re happy other people around you will be too. Trust me it’s magical…

There’s no “Magic Bullet”

There are no quick fixes. No book. No diet. So don’t waste time looking for them. Successful people make small continuous improvements every day to achieve their goals. There are no overnight successes; that’s a myth.
You only have this one amazing, unpredictable and precious life. That’s why you owe it to yourself be your best self. Never stop doing what enriches your life and making special memories.
Thank you for listening and have an amazing week.
Until next time…
